My research activities are focussed on two points. First are research methods: development and specification of techniques of category related qualitatively orientated (Qualitative Content Analysis), development of criteria and procedures for qualitatively orientated research designs, possibilities of combination and integration of qualitative and quantitative analysis (Mixed Methodology). We try to demonstrate this especially for evaluation research (Center for Evaluation and Research Consulting ZEF). The second research area is the application and verification of those techniques within applied psychology: health psychology (happiness, life satisaction, well-being, quality of life), gerontology (stress and well-being in old age) and educational psychology (learning emotions, E-learning).
